Senior Social Club: Resumes after the summer break on this Thursday, 26th September with Mass in the Community Centre at 12 noon.

Cystic Fibrosis: Ballingarry C.F. are holding a Sponsored Horse / Pony Ride and Walk, on behalf of Tipperary Branch of C.F., in Kilcooley Estate on Sunday, 13th October at 12.30pm sharp, the proceeds for which are specifically for the CF Refurbishment Project in Waterford Regional Hospital Paediatric Unit. Sponsorship Cards are in circulation. All insurances and Garda permits are in place. There will be refreshments on the day. 2 separate courses, 1 for walkers and 1 for horses and ponies, and both will be marshalled by members of Ballingarry Civil Defence and members of our group. Tickets will be on sale on the day for a raffle, the draw for which will take place on the Sunday night in Ballingarry. Tidy Towns: Ask you to notify the Environment Section in South Tipp. Co. Council if you see anyone dropping green plastic bags containing waste vegetables & ashes on the public roads in Ballingarry. Many of these bags were thrown from cars last Sunday. Please notify of any illegal dumping. The Rose Festival, which is being organised by the Tidy Towns, will take place during the month of October. We would like to thank all our Roses who applied. We will be providing a full list of the programme in the coming weeks. We were amazed with such interest in this event and will continue to host it for Tidy Towns on a yearly basis.
Thanks: The Meagher family, Shangarry wish to express their sincere thanks to neighbours and friends who helped in any way during their sad bereavement. Also the many people who travelled from far and near to offer their sympathy. We wish to thank Fr. Derry Quirke PP who did much more than duty demanded, also the choir who turned a beautiful Mass into something we will always remember. Mass has been offered for all.
