Over 700 students from Thurles CBS Secondary School and in excess of 50 staff members led by Principal Mr Tiernan O’Donnell and Deputy Principal Mr Tim Coffey, will don the runners and shorts tomorrow(Thursday) at Thurles Racecourse in a bid to raise funds for former student Peter Ryan and the Fighting Blindness charity.

Over 700 students from Thurles CBS Secondary School and in excess of 50 staff members led by Principal Mr Tiernan O’Donnell and Deputy Principal Mr Tim Coffey, will don the runners and shorts tomorrow(Thursday) at Thurles Racecourse in a bid to raise funds for former student Peter Ryan and the Fighting Blindness charity.

Over 700 students from Thurles CBS Secondary School and in excess of 50 staff members led by Principal Mr Tiernan O’Donnell and Deputy Principal Mr Tim Coffey, will don the runners and shorts tomorrow(Thursday) at Thurles Racecourse in a bid to raise funds for former student Peter Ryan and the Fighting Blindness charity.

The event will kick off at 11:30am and sponsorship cards have been floating around as the students bid to raise as much cash as possible for Peter who recently returned from the World Games as a blind competitor in the tandem cycling event.
