There will be a celebration of the Celtic feast of Lughnasa at Cabragh Wetlands at 8.00pm on Wednesday 1st August. Entry is free and all are welcome.
Bank Holiday Sunday August 5th is the day to visit Cabragh Wetlands, when there will be a Festival of Country Sports and Traditional Entertainment to keep all the family entertained. The gates will open at 1.00, with an early focus on the children. At about 1.45 we will have a Fancy Dress Parade, theme of Nature, with sack, egg-and-spoon, wheelbarrow and 3-legged races to follow. With Face Painting, a Children’s Corner, and crafts (including a have-a-go pottery wheel), there will be plenty to keep the kids busy.
