Four Nenagh MDC estates are taken in charge

The Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, Alan Kelly, has confirmed that four estates in the Nenagh Municipal District have been taken in charge by Tipperary County Council.

The Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, Alan Kelly, has confirmed that four estates in the Nenagh Municipal District have been taken in charge by Tipperary County Council.

The four estates are Killnasalla Estate in Nenagh, Fernhill Estate, Ballina, Shoreside Estate, Ballina, and Cnoc Ard Estate, which is also in Ballina.

“I am delighted that following the June monthly meeting of the Nenagh Municipal District Council these estates have been taken in charge. This is great news for all the residents in these estates. I have made many representations on their behalf over a long period of time and its great to see the process come to fruition,” said Minister Kelly.

All four estates have outstanding works on roads, footpaths and lighting to have carried out. Killnasalla Estate will have works carried out costing €880; Fernhill estate will need works costing around €44,250; Shoreside Estate will cost €86,250, and Cnoc Ard €16,811.
