Just last month Dacia Ireland announced the arrival of the brand and its first model the Duster at the shockingly affordable price of €14,990.
Since the announcement hundreds of people have signed up to test drive, what is being put forward as Ireland’s smartest buy, with a view to purchasing the family crossover.
Cleary Motors, Loughtagalla, Thurles are main dealers for Dacia and this week The Tipperary Star, got in on the act and checked out the Duster to see what all the fuss is about. Yes, there is fuss. And yes, there is justifiable cause.
Into the bargain, Dacia Ireland has now announced DaciaPlan the personal contract plan which will see potential customers pay just €149 per month over 36 months and at the end of the agreement, have three choices – change for a new Dacia, pay the final payment and keep the car, or hand back the car. Dacia customers need not worry about the resale value of their car and this also removes any risk of negative equity - remember that horrible term associated with the property market.
