Condolences

The club would like to express it’s sincere sympathy to the Dooley family on the passing of Leo on Thursday last. Leo was one of Roscrea’s greatest ever sporting stars. He’s performances for his town, county and province are legendary and many consider him to be among the best sporting greats that Roscrea has ever produced. Away from the GAA field, Leo also excelled at the game of golf. He mastered the game to become a scratch golfer and again he served both his club and the county winning numerous titles along the way. It was fitting that a minutes silence was observed before the Tipperary/Limerick game on Sunday last. A great tribute to a great sportsman. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam
