On Thursday, August 25, from 1pm to 2pm, enjoy storytelling with Margaret Ryan from Nenagh Library at Nenagh Heritage Centre as part of Heritage Week, followed by colouring and face painting. This is for 2-5 year olds and is free.
On Friday, August 26, from 1pm–2.30pm, 10-16 year-olds can take a free tour of the museum, the gatehouse and the condemned cells and watch the history of these buildings come alive. This is a real treat for all who took part in the Children’s Heritage Photographic Competition. The results of the Heritage Photographic Competition will be announced after this event at 2.30pm in the Heritage Centre.
