Tributes have been paid to a highly respected Polish man who died last Friday in a motorcycle accident near Nenagh.

Gardaí in Nenagh are investigating the collision which occurred on the N52 Nenagh By-pass on Friday evening (April 17th).

The crash claimed the life of 32-year-old Lukasz Koniuszek. Mr Koniuszek, of Millers Brook Nenagh, and Poland, worked in Holycross near Thurles for the Tipperary Kitchen Bakery, where he was widely respected as an experienced Chef.

This week the proprietors, Brian and Ann Marie Walsh paid their respects to their late friend and work colleague. “On behalf of all the team at The Tipperary Kitchen bakery and Holycross Stores, it is with great sadness that we acknowledge the death of our esteemed colleague Lukasz Koniuszek.”
