Last Thursday our group had a fantastic walk around Golden Grove and Orange Hill, there’s surely no better time of the year to walk this woodland with the Bluebells in full bloom.
It was great to see some old and some new members joining us.
This Thursday the 8th of May we head back to the Silver River in Cadamstown, another fantastic woodland walk which will be done in two phases in order to give new members a chance to try out our very popular walks.
Meeting as normal at Mulrooney’s Gala at 7pm.
For those of you looking to climb Croagh Patrick on July the 5th now is the time to get into shape, and what better way to do this than joining us on our very social and easy going walks.
As with all our walks they are free and open to all, young and old. We will be holding an open evening in the coming weeks to give people an idea of what our walks are all about and how to join, and the launch of our walking festival, more of this in the next few weeks.
For those of you looking for a more energetic form of exercise you could try the sport of indoor rock climbing which is a great way of getting fit and toned while having fun at the same time, all the necessary climbing equipment is provided, just wear trainers and loose clothing. Please contact the number below for more details.
If you would like to get more information on this walk or indeed any of our walks in the coming weeks, you can send a text to Cathal on 086 3399193 or Declan on 087 6769143 with an expression of interest.
