Noel Coonan TD has welcomed the innovative introduction of Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs) to counties nationwide saying they will offer improved services to Tipperary small businesses.
“Jobs Minister Richard Bruton announced this measure as part of a reform of the system of supports for enterprises. This first-stop shop service will be delivered through a network of 31 LEOs across the country. It will bring together for the first time the skills, experience and resources of Enterprise Ireland, the CEBs and the Local Authorities to micro and small businesses,” explained Deputy Coonan.
“Some of the improved services that will be available include mentoring programmes, advice on and access to a range of services from across Government, including Revenue, Credit Review Office, the Companies Registration Office and access to the range of support services, offered by the Business Support units of Local Authorities. This is only few of the services to be made available,” explained Deputy Coonan.
