Clonmel’s Councillor Siobhàn Ambrose has been nominated to contest the upcoming Fianna Fàil convention.

Councillor Ambrose, who has been a Councillor since 2004 said she was delighted to have been nominated by so many members to contest the upcoming Fianna Fàil convention for the new Tipperary constituency. Councillor Ambrose is a former Mayor of Clonmel and Vice Chair of the former South Tipperary County Council and South Tipperary Vocational Education Committee. Fàil convention Councillor Ambrose is currently meeting with delegates from the entire county to garner support in her bid to become one of the five TDs elected for Tipperary after the next general election. Cllr Ambrose says her main priorities are job creation, support for the services at South Tipperary General Hospital, Community Policing, and infrastructure.
