South Tipperary Federation Irish Countrywomen’s Association (I.C.A) is organising a 5k Fun Run/Walk in aid of National Breast Cancer Research next Sunday, May 17, at 2.30pm sharp from the Town Hall Clonmel.

This walk will take the usual ‘Slí na Sláinte’ (‘Path to Health’) form. The event is a circuit of the town and should take about an hour of brisk walking. Water will be available to refresh you during the walk. A support car with stewarts will be on hand around the route to assist anyone who may need it. Please wear a Jacket, Bib or any item of reflective clothing. Sponsorship Cards have been sent to all I.C.A. Guilds. Sports Officer Janice Beasley would appreciate the attendance of as many as possible of the Guilds’ members and to fill cards to fundraise and support this great cause for which I.C.A. Nationwide has raised so much in the past. Non members very welcome to participate in this Fun Event. Tea/Coffee and scones will be arranged for afterwards at a local hostelry.
