The membership includes the principals of the schools, the chairpersons of the Boards of Management, representatives of the parish council, and the priests of the parish. The chairperson is chosen from outside the membership and is at present Ms. Maeve Healy. The Forum meet a number of times each year and hopes to promote the development of primary education and and help the schools achieve their mission for the pupils and the community.

With generous help of the local conference of the St. Vincent de Paul, the Forum was able to provide significant financial help to the schools for pupil assessments and other important activities. The Forum’s Education Fund, to which the children of this year’s confirmation class are the first contributors, hopes to be a source of further help in the future.
