County Teams - We are proud to have so many players involved with the County teams, Leah McKeogh helped the Tipperary U/16 team to qualify for the All-Ireland semi-final by scoring 1-1 against Galway last weekend.

Leah is putting a great effort into representing the club and we wish them every success in the semi-final.

Ciara O’Halloran and Lisa Reidy are currently part of the County U/14 panel and Ciara Byrne and Searlait Quinn are attending Primary School trials. Keep up the good work girls!

Help Needed - We are currently researching a golden era of camogie in Portroe. If anyone has newspaper clippings or photos from early to mid 1980’s when Portroe won 3 in a row County Senior titles along with many other trophies, please give same to any committee member and they will be returned, thank you.

Over 60’s Club - As the club celebrates its 30th anniversary this year we hope to have a special celebration later in the year. Our first outing for 2011 will be to Mount St. Joseph’s Monastery, Roscrea on Saturday, 16th April.

Bus will leave Portroe Cross at 1.15 p.m. returning at 5.30 p.m./6 p.m. (approx). Cost for the afternoon is 12 euro which includes evening tea.

Names as soon as possible to any committee member.
