Galtee Walking Club - November

Hurricane Jude seemed to give us a miss on Sunday allowing the C group of 20 to enjoy a glorious, sunny riverside walk in Cahir, taking in the old Quaker graveyard in Kilcommon.

Hurricane Jude seemed to give us a miss on Sunday allowing the C group of 20 to enjoy a glorious, sunny riverside walk in Cahir, taking in the old Quaker graveyard in Kilcommon.

Further east the B walkers also enjoyed similar favourable conditions on a lovely woodland trek around Kilsheelan Woods, a cautious alternative to the higher grounds originally planned by David. Great to catch the light as the days draw in.

A reminder to members that the club year starts now so subscriptions are due and for new members, joining now gives you a whole year’s worth of walks!

See our website for details and forms. Next week’s walks (Sunday November 3rd).

The A walk meets with Cliona Tuohy at Clydagh Bridge at 10am. Kilcoran Lodge Hotel is the meeting point for the B and C walks.

Both assembling at 1030am - Anthony O’Brien will lead the B walk and Thomas O’Neill the C group.

New walkers always welcome!
