On Friday 14th June Network North Tipperary will host their 3rd Annual Business Women of the Year Awards Dinner at The Fairways Bar and Orchard Restaurant in Kilruane, outside Nenagh.
Businesses in North Tipperary were invited to apply for the Awards under 3 categories – New Business, Existing Business & an Employee category.
Louisa Condon, President Network North Tipperary is delighted to announce that this year AIB will be the title sponsor and will also sponsor the Existing Business Category. The Tipperary North County Enterprise Board has been involved with women in business networks since 2001 and believes that the Awards help to recognise the importance of female entrepreneurship and its contribution to the local economy. Speaking to the Press, CEO Rita Guinan said that “the New Business Category is very important to the Board as the competitors can act as a catalyst to other women contemplating self-employment”.

Those chosen for the shortlist will now go through an interview process with judges – Geraldine Manning from TNCEB, Rani Dabri from Miss Moneypenny & Margaret Mc Loughney from AIB. Winners and runners up will be announced at the Awards Dinner on 14th June.
Former Irish Women’s Rugby International Fiona Steed has been chosen for this year’s Honorary Award as Tipperary Woman of the Year and will attend on the night.
The Network North Tipperary Business Awards Dinner will take place on Friday 14th June 2013 at 7.00pm and will have some very special guests in attendance.
