ASA had planned to build a 3 pump island car/van forecourt and a 1-pump island HCV forecourt, with a restaurant/café and other amenities at the site. The plans were turned down by South Tipperary County Council for three reasons. An Taisce; John Cully, Apt # 9, The Cedars; James Burke, Cahir House Machinery Ltd; Jerome Casey, Coolmore Stud; the Dept. of Arts and Heritage; the NRA; the HSE; and Thomas P Meagher, c/o Dr Michael MacNicholas; all lodged submissions and/or observations with the planning office in relation to the plans.
