All roads will lead to Loughmore for the first Indoor Christmas Market to be held in the village. This promises to be a special day, where local people will have the opportunity to sell their home produce, art and crafts. It will be a wonderful community venture and a chance for people to meet each other and buy some high quality products, wholesome, home-baked goods, locally grown vegetables and unique Christmas items.
There are 35 tables booked for the day. Many local farmers, and their very talented, enterprising wives, will be taking stalls and selling their first class produce. There will also be some visiting stalls, representing food producers in Tipperary, such as Cooleeney Cheese, The Scullery, Nenagh, Cookie Jar Cookies, Seamus Crowe Organic Meats and Ultan Nesbitt, Horticulturalist, of Tipp Fm fame, who will be there to sell plants and to answer all your gardening queries. It will be an occasion, where many from the farming community, will be given an opportunity to get a fair price for their produce, as well as offering great value for money.
There will even be a little tea-room, where one can have a cup of tea, a sandwich and bun! This is an opportunity for local people to embrace their inner entrepreneur in their community environment and to have a fun and relaxed time in the process. Customers will also be treated to a complimentary mulled wine as they peruse the stalls and decide on their purchases! Loughmore Indoor Christmas Market will be held on Sunday, 4th of December, at the Community Centre, in Loughmore village, from 11am to 3pm. All are welcome to enjoy this unique and free event.
