Farmers Milk Candidates Over Banks

A packed IFA meeting with the Tipperary North election candidates in the Abbey Court Hotel last Thursday, revealed that Tipperary’s farmers are as au fait with bank bailouts and they are with baler twine.

While the candidates set out their stall on agriculture matters in their five-minute speech, from the outset of the question and answer session that followed there was only one topic that mattered - the banks.
