On this Sunday our Minor footballers play Rockwell Rovers in New Inn at 12 noon. A meeting of all St. Patrick’s Junior footballers and hurlers will be held at Anner Park, Cloneen on this Saturday night, 26th February at 8 p.m. All players over 16 are requested to attend this meeting where the 2011 team management will outline their plans for the coming months.

We extend the sympathy of St. Patrick’s G.A.A. club to the family of the late Michael Mack Noonan who died recently at the age of 97. Mack was a life long supporter of the G.A.A. and his sons played with the club over a long number of years. Mack’s grandsons Jason, Derek and T.J. were prominent members of several successful St. Patrick’s hurling and football teams while grand-daughters Olwyn and Camilia were prominent members of the successful St. Patricks camogie and Camilia is a prominent member of the newly formed ladies football team.
