Lions Club of Roscrea Food Appeal:

It is that time of the year again and Roscrea Lions Club is appealing to the people of Roscrea and district to support them in their fundraising events over the Christmas season. The Christmas Cash or Food Appeal has always been a very successful project for the Club. . The Christmas collection for cash or food will take place in Roscrea from Thursday 16th to Saturday 18th December. Initially, the emphasis in this project was on collecting food, but in recent years people prefer to contribute cash at the collection points. The collections bins and cash buckets, manned by Lions members, will be in Roscrea supermarkets over these days (Bernies Supervalu, Tesco, and Dunnes). This year, more than ever, the Lions Club is appealing for your support and request you be as generous as possible. If any person would like to make a private donation to this project, please contact any Lions Club member. The proceeds of the project will all go toward buying food for deserving individuals or families who are in need in the local area. We wish you a very happy and peaceful Christmas and thank you for your generous support throughout the year,
