New store creates 12 jobs in Nenagh

A total of 21 jobs have been created in Nenagh with the opening of the Mr Price store at the former O’Connors Supermarket site on Martyr’s Road.

A total of 21 jobs have been created in Nenagh with the opening of the Mr Price store at the former O’Connors Supermarket site on Martyr’s Road.

The shop, which sells branded goods at discount process, opened its doors last Thursday, September 10, on the part of the site that was occupied by Bergin Electric, a tile store and a former beauty salon and gym.

A spokesperson for Mr Price said they had had a “fantastic reaction” to coming to Nenagh. We are delighted to have been able to create 12 jobs for the area.”

The company revealed that they had 200 applicants for the 12 jobs.

The Nenagh store is the Irish company’s first store in Tipperary and its 21st in Ireland.
