Sudden death of a male in Nenagh

Gardai in Nenagh, Co Tipperary are investigating the circumstances following the discovery of the body of a male (36 years old) in a house in Nenagh earlier yesterday (February 19th).

Gardai in Nenagh, Co Tipperary are investigating the circumstances following the discovery of the body of a male (36 years old) in a house in Nenagh earlier yesterday (February 19th).

The 36-year-old man was discovered in the shower of a house on McDonagh Street, Nenagh at about 6pm yesterday evening by a caller. Gardai were alerted and attended the house, and a local doctor pronounced the man dead at the scene. His body was preserved at the scene for a Technical examination. It’s understood the man is a foreign national who has lived in Nenagh for some time. His death is being treated as suspicious.

The Office of the State Pathologist has been notified and a post mortem is expected to be carried out on the deceased today (February 20th) at Limerick Regional hospital.
