S.T. Military History Lecture

We are delighted to announce that Author and Historian Pádraig Óg Ó Ruairc will be with us on Tuesday 15th January, at 8 p.m. in Iunva House, Clonmel, and will present his Photographic Exhibition “Revolution: A photographic history of Revolutionary Ireland 1913-1923. These images formed the basis of Pádraigs much acclaimed book of the same name and without doubt this will be a night to remember. All members and those intending to visit are asked to be present early as we expect to be full for this exhibition.

Pádraig Óg Ó Ruairc is a native of South-east Clare. He is the author of three books on the 1913 -1923 period, “Blood On The Banner – The Republican Struggle in Clare”, “The Battle For Limerick City” and Revolution a photographic History of Revolutionary Ireland. He is currently researching the Anglo Irish Truce for a Ph D at the University of Limerick. Pádraig is also the creator and main contributor to the excellent website War of Independence.
