The new schedule of Sunday walks to take us up to the end of the year has been prepared and is available on our website, galteewalkingclub.ie. As usual, there is a good variety to choose from with something to suit all levels of walker. Locations vary from the Silvermines to the Knockmealdowns and from Ballyhoura Country to the Comeraghs without forgetting our home territory of the Galtees and the Glen. There are also a number of Walking Festivals to look forward to over the coming months.

Walking is a wonderful recreational activity giving participants the opportunity to improve their fitness in beautiful countryside, fresh air and good company, so we encourage anyone interested to contact us and give it a try as we begin our new season.
