Jack Ryan Cup

Our under 8 team were out on Saturday playing in the Jack Ryan Cup in St Cronan’s Park. Thanks to Neangh, JK Brackens and Birr for coming over ! What a great day. The sun was shining and all was ready for a great day of hurling. Birr played Roscrea and Brackens played Nenagh. Two great matches and the final would be contested by Birr and Nenagh. Birr were the winners in the end. Well done everyone. Thanks to Mag, Bridget, Emma, and Ann-Maire for looking after us all with tea and refreshments, to our own team ye played well and showed great heart and spirit on the pitch ! On a sad note it was disappointing that so little adults came up to support our kids on what was a lovely day for young and old.
