Home owners who possess two properties and have not yet paid the Non Principal Private Residence charge (NPPR) may be liable for a E1,660 fee from North and South Tipperary County Council’s it has emerged this week.
At a meeting of the North Tipperary authority in Nenagh, members were horrified to hear that people may have to fork out the maximum of 1,660 Euro if they have not yet paid any form of NPPR. This figure is arrived at when costs and penalties are factored in.
A statement from the council issued this week said, “It has come to this authority’s attention that there are still a small number of property owners who are not compliant with the Non Principle Private Residence (NPPR) legislation.
