Nenagh Chamber of Commerce has welcomed the start of work on laying the natural gas pipe line through Nenagh.
The work is scheduled to start on Monday, January 12, in Stafford Street and take up to 12 weeks. It will also take in Silver Street, William Street, Clare Street and Limerick road
“It might be the kickstart to bring jobs. We need to try and develop the town and you can create jobs if you create the right conditions,” said Chamber president Denis Finnerty. “At the end of the day, Nenagh is a good, friendly town.”
He said the investment “might fuel recovery around the place”.
