“This is a blatant attempt to justify the excessive length of the Tribunal which became a marathon, moving at an appallingly slow pace, due to its own incompetence and inefficiency. This Tribunal has been rudderless and out of control at massive tax-payer expense for the past 15 years. The management and control of it has been so bad as to ensure that the very idea of another similar Tribunal for any purpose would be denounced, by all levels of Irish Society,” he said
