All roads led to Killavilla Utd, Roscrea on Monday recently, as the FAI entourage tour Tipperary as part of the Festival of Football week.
Over 80 players turned out in force to display their skills and meet ex internationals Ray Houghton and Keith Andrews, President Tony Fitzgerald and CEO John Delaney.
The Villa Park venue was in pristine condition as players from ages 5 to 16 showed off their array of skills.
John Delaney praised the club for the hard work and commitment that is taking place at grass roots level and affirmed the FAI’s commitment to underage player development in the region.
Ray Houghton and Keith Andrews presented medals to Killavilla’s own stars and signed everything from jerseys to footballs to a hurl.
After a well deserved cup of tea and cake the delegation bid their farewells before travelling onto Templemore.
