Greyhound Stadium to Host Down Syndrome Ireland’s “Night at the Dogs” Fundraiser

Down Syndrome Ireland will host its annual charity “Night at the Dogs” fundraiser at Thurles Greyhound Stadium, Nenagh road on Saturday next (25th February 2012).

This event is part of Down Syndrome Ireland’s nationwide “Night at the Dogs” fundraiser which takes place at 10 stadiums across the country. Many thousands of people are expected to attend with Down Syndrome Ireland expecting to raise over J100,000 for its local and national services. This family fun event is proudly supported by the Irish Greyhound Board.

Tickets bought directly from Down Syndrome Ireland will also be in with a chance to win 2 tickets to some of the most sought after concerts this year including, Jedward, Westlife, Imelda May and comedian PJ Gallagher to name but a few. Commenting on the upcoming national benefit evening, Pat Clarke, Chief Executive Officer of Down Syndrome Ireland said, “This is the second year we will host Down Syndrome Ireland’s ‘Night at the Dogs’ fundraiser. Last year’s event was a tremendous success and we would ask everyone to support their local Down Syndrome Ireland branch raise much needed funds and come along on Saturday evening for a fantastic night.”
