Players, management and County Board acknowledge the huge task
The enormity of the challenge facing Tipperary on Sunday in Nowlan Park when they lock horns with Kilkenny in the Allianz NHL Final was roundly articulated by players, management and County Board alike this week when they came to the Horse and Jockey Inn to discuss the hugely anticipated clash.
From Captain Shane McGrath, to Assistant Manager Michael Ryan, through to defender Conor O’Mahony and County Board Chairman Sean Nugent - they were all of the same view - Tipperary face an enormous challenge in the caludron that will be the Cats lair on Sunday.
But, the hugely refreshing impression coming from the camp is that this is a challenge to be relished, rather than something to be feared.
