Scór JK Brackens Scór Win 2 All Irelands - Pride of place goes to Our Scór competitors last Saturday evening when both our Set Dancers and Noel Joyce (Recitation) won All Ireland medals at the All Ireland Scór Competitions held in Derry on last Saturday night.

Firstly when the Bean an Tí announced that Noel Joyce had won the recitation, the army of supporters erupted with cheers of joy and celebration , but when the Bean an Tí announced that our Set Dancers won also, the roof was lifted with cheers of tremendous jubilation. There wasn’t a dry eye to be seen with scenes of joy and celebration that continued all night. Great credit to all the competitors and supporters for their quest to reach this Holy Grail. When the bus arrived back to Clonmore on Sunday evening the two All Ireland winning groups were greeted with raptures of applauses with bonfires at the crossroads, dancing and singing on the street as the huge crowd welcomed all home for a great reception in the Community Hall. The message was simply “well done to all “ highlighting how much this marvelous achievement means to the parish and supporters of J K Brackens.
