Cashel King Cormacs

Our Junior B’s have made life difficult for themselves losing out to Golden in New Inn last Saturday. The game played in testing conditions started well for Cashel and the lads enjoyed a 1-7 to 0-4 lead at half time, but should have been further ahead having spurned many good chances. The second half was a slog and Golden benefited converting placed balls to haul themselves back into it. Cashel on the other hand couldn’t muster a single score and paid the price, losing out 1-7 to 1-12. This makes things a lot harder for Cashel who were by far the better hurlers getting some good scores from play but the second half was disappointing. Nevertheless the team are still in the mix and will need to show some character in their next game to stay alive the Junior B championship.

Well done to all the players and mentors on their brilliant victory.
