We were trailing by 2.03 to 0.04 at the break, in the opening minute of the restart Ballina were awarded a penalty, which left us with a lot of work to do. In the following twenty minutes we socred 2.05, with Ballina scoring three points, the game was level deep in injury time, however Colin O’Riordan in the dying seconds scored our winning point, putting us through to the County final on a scoreline 2.20 to 3.06. Two days later on Thursday 7th July we headed to Pairc na nOg to play Clonmel Commercials in the u16 County Football final.
