Our new Cathaoirleach Josephine Cahill welcomed the delegates, we then went on to discuss the changes in Scor, In the Leiriu catergory which replaces the Novelty Act.

This is a Drama of 10 minutes duration on Irish history and mythology.

The organising Committee on the night shall have to keep an eye on setting up and clearing of stage as only Hand Props will be allowed. Also a timekeeper to check that the Act don’t overrun the allowed 10 mins. ( 2 minutes extra allowed for coming on and off stage ).

Then there was a discussion on the separate Table Quiz with the required 100 Questions - to get a Venue and a Quiz Master and pick a date, perhaps it could be run with the County G.A.A Table Quix which was a huge success around St. Patrick’s Day 2013.

The four divisional finals will be run off on 29th and 3Oth November.

The County final of Scor na nOg will be held in Holycross Parish Hall on Friday 6th December 8p.m.

The Munster semi-final of Scor na nOg with Tipp ., interest will be held in Halla na Feile, Cashel on Sunday 5th January 2014 at 2.30p.m.

The 2nd Munster semi will be in Millstreet on Sunday 12th January.

Munster final on Sunday 26th January, venue to be arranged. All Ireland of Scor na nOg will be in Athlone on Saturday 22nd February,2014. (D.V.)

Adare Productions with T na G are interested in putting on Scor Encore again this season, but would like to utilise the divisional finals this time if possible.

Roddy Crehan from Lattin Cullen whose Ballad Group got to final last time informed the meeting that it was an enjoyable experience for them and a learning curve seeing the way the shows for Television were produced.

Child Protection Forms given out for completion and to be sent to the Tipperary Vetting Officer ASAP.

Votes of sympathy to Timmie Cullen and family Moyne Village on his wife Delia passing to her eternal reward. Delia was a pillar of the Community, generous with her time to help out in the village.
