Draws for Round 3 of the Clean Ireland Recycling County Senior Hurling Championship made on Monday evening have thrown up some very interesting clashes which will keep patrons in The Premier County 0n edge.
The draws have pitted Roscrea against Moycarkey Borris; Templederry Kenyons against Toomevara; Nenagh Éire Óg against Upperchurch Drombane; and Borris Ileigh against Burgess/Cappawhite - this game has yet to be played and is fixed for next week.
The draws were also made for the Clean Ireland Recycling County Senior Hurling Relegation Semi Finals and will see Cashel King Cormacs taking on Moneygall, while Golden Kilfeacle will face Boherlahan Dualla - two very important games for the four clubs, with the two losers fighting out the relegation battle in the ultimate game.
The O’Riain Cup draws were also made and they see
Borrisokane squaring up to Munster and county champions Thurles Sarsfields while Lorrha Dorrha will meet Carrick Davins.
The playing of most of these games will depend on how Tipperary get on in Nowlan Park on Saturday evening next. Should Tipperary defeat Kilkenny, they will be our again in the qualifiers the following weekend against Waterford and no club games will be played in the interim. Defeat for Tipp could mean games being played much sooner.
