There were contrasting scenes in MacDonagh Park after the Hibernian Inn North Tipperary Senior hurling final when Kildangan swamped Silvermines in the most one-sided North senior hurling final in years.

Relieved to see the game over – as it was so one sided – Kildangan supporters were respectful as they applauded their captain, Joe Gallagher when he received the Frank McGrath Cup from North Board Chairman, John McGrath.

Joe Gallagher thanked everyone involved and asked his followers to help the side face the County championship now that Kildangan had taken the Frank McGrath Cup for the second time in the last five years.
