Toome’ vs Clonoulty the pick of them

The draws for the fourth round of the Clean Ireland Recycling county senior hurling championship have thrown up some very interesting clashes to be played out over next weekend and on September 7th.

The pick of the ties willprobably be the clash of Toomevara and Clonoulty Rossmore in Holycross on Saturday Spetember 7th as part of a double header which also features Borris-Ileigh against Carrick Swans. What an afternoons entertainment this promises to be and the winner in both cases will then be put into the hat to be drawn off against the divisional champions - Drom-Inch, Killenaule, Kildangan and Eire Og Anacarthy. The semi-final clashes are likely to take place in Semple Stadium as part of another attractive double bill.

Joining these six sides will be winners of Loughmore Castleiney and Roscrea which takes place in Templemore on Saturday evening next at 6:00pm. And, the final side into the hat will be the winner of Nenagh Eire Og and Silvermines - an all north clash.

Saturday’s two games - can Loughmore Castleiney bounce back from the Mid Final disappointment, or will Roscrea hold their good form?

Can Silvermines continue their meteoric rise or will Nenagh prevail once more?

All will be revealed very soon.
