Win for the U10s –

Kilfeacle vs. Cashel.

Kilfeacle vs. Cashel.

A good display from the U10’s on Sunday 10th November. We were short some players but the lads that came really put in a strong performance. Our tackling and rucking is really coming on and this really upset Kilfeacle. It forced them to commit some mistakes and we were quick to punish them for this. Cashel started slow and allowed Kilfeacle to take the lead in the first half. We changed up a gear in the second half and really got stuck in and drew the first match. Second game was a different story and we dominated this game from start to finish. Excellent display for our lads. First game score 4-4. Second game 5-3 to Cashel. Scores from Sean Downey, Colin Gerrathy, Lee Ferncombe and Keelan Ryan.

Cashel beat UL

Bohemians 4-1

Cashel make up for disappointing Kilfeacle match with a strong win over UL Bohemians. Having lost their first match Cashel had a point to prove. Everyone of the Cashel lads lifted their game and put in a fine performance. Cashel try scorers where Eoin Moloughney, Joseph Lawrence, Alex Dunne and Kyle Burke. Man of the match went to Kyle Burke who played like a mini Sean O’Brien. The New Inn man put in an outstanding performance in both matches.

Cashel King Cormacs

Cashels U21s Hurlers are awaiting the result of next weekend’s game between Kickams and Golden to determine whom they will play in the West Semi finals. The lads have played all four of their league games with two wins from four. Narrow losses to hotly fancied Clonoulty and a 1pt defeat to Arravale have taken the gloss off an excellent opening campaign. But the team have been working very hard and will be a match for whomever they are drawn against. The game will almost certainly be fixed for November 23rd/24th so a strong Cashel support would be most welcome!
