Tipperary Captain David Young explains the feeling when Tipp won the All-Ireland intermediate title.
Tipperary captain David Young had a smile across his face as large as the Devil’s Bit after he had helped his side to the All-Ireland silverware on Saturday in Nowlan Park.
The Toomevara giant, a senior medal winner in 2010 equated his feeling of delight with that of the 2010 victory and he revealed that the win had been coming - he could sense it amongst the players in their approach to training over the last number of weeks.
“The camp has been buzz. ing for the last few weeks and we were really waiting for this game - wanting it.
“Six weeks is a long time since the Munster Final - a long break, but we really upped it over the last few weeks. It’s just fantastic that we came and got over it and won.
