Intermediate Boss speaks about doing the two in a row
Tipperary Manager Mick Ryan was over the moon at his side’s win in the All-Ireland intermediate hurling final in Nowlan Park on Saturday evening.
It was not easy for the affable Ryan to conceal his delight when he spoke to The Tipperary Star afterwards and despite the fact that he had masterminded back-to-back titles with two different teams, he was quick to deflect the praise.
“It was a fantastic achievement for us to come into the lions den in Nowlan Park and come away with a win. There was a bit of pressure on to get a victory for the county and thankfully we did that.
