Senior and Junior Hurling: Our Senior Hurling team got back into championship contention on Sunday last in Holycross as a result of a one point victory over Boherlahann on a scoreline of 1-14 to 2-10. Our next game will be next Sunday week against Upperchurch-Drombane. See fixtures for details. Training continues for all on appointed evenings

Junior Hurling: We were defeated in the league game against Loughmore in Pairc Shileann on Sunday. It’s expected we will have another game next weekend. All player are asked to be in attendance at all training sessions over coming weeks

Minor Football: In very poor conditions at Castleiney last Wed evening we were defeated by Loughmore. It is imperative that we win the remaining games in the league section to ensure participation at semi final stage, so all players are asked to attend training sessions between now and final games. It’s expected we will be playing Sarsfields on Wed evening, See Mid fixtures for details of next game.

Inter county Games: Best of luck to the Tipp minors in the Munster Hurling Championship on Wednesday

School games: Our Ladys will play Middleton CBS in Semi Final of Rice Cup, No details for game yet, Support at game will be appreciated.

Scór (All Ireland Final): After another magnificent performance in Recitation, Noel Joyce had to settle for a runner up spot in the All Ireland Final held in Killarney last Saturday night week. Despite the long journey back home, the travelling supporters and friends received a mighty homecoming reception in Clonmore to a packed hall where Noel delivered another sample of sheer natural talent to a hugely receptive audience. Have no doubts, Noel will be back competing at the very highest level next year. Well done to the organising committee for their help and support with refreshments afterwards.

Sympathy: Our sympathy to the Broderick, Hanley and Hassey families on their recent bereavement.
