Lourdes Sick Pilgrim Appeal

The annual collection to help support and fiancé sick and seriously ill pilgrims on this year’s Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will be held next weekend the 11th and 12th of May at all. Your generosity would be much appreciated. This year is the centenary of the first Irish pilgrimage which took place overland in 1913. The Diocesan Pilgrimage, with direct flights from Shannon Airport will take place from June 26th to July 1st and from September 27th to October 2nd.

Inane Rovers

The Annual Bealtaine Festival, celebrating creativity as we age, takes place in May each year. There are hundreds of events on country wide and quite a few on in Tipperary. Roscrea Library is delighted to be hosting some events this year. Admission to all events is free and booking is advisable.

Monday 13th May at 2.30pm - Making a Will: An information session with local solicitor, Michael Breen. Thursday 30th May at 3pm - Genealogy Resources in Tipperary Libraries: An introduction to Genealogy Resources with staff from Tipperary Studies. Admission to all of these events is free of charge!
