Lisbunny graveyard extension will be a lawn cemetery, which means there will be no kerbing around graves, Nenagh MDC councillors have been told.
The cemetery will have height regulations for headstones, which will be placed back-to-back along a central concrete beam, district administrator Rosemary Joyce revealed.
It will also have two columbarian walls for urns.
Ms Joyce told Cllr Seamus Morris that his appeal to prevent commercial vehicles parking outside the cemetery can be addressed when the draft bylaws are being incorporated.
He said his appeal was specifically aimed at speed vans that were using the entrance during funerals.
