Nenagh workshop on cultivating liveable communities

NORTH Tipperary County Council will host a full day workshop, facilitated by Davie Philip and Chris Chapman of Cultivate, to explore how we can nurture our communities to be healthier and more sustainable backed by local economies that are stronger and more resilient.

NORTH Tipperary County Council will host a full day workshop, facilitated by Davie Philip and Chris Chapman of Cultivate, to explore how we can nurture our communities to be healthier and more sustainable backed by local economies that are stronger and more resilient.

The goal of the workshop is to improve the capacity of people / organisations working in the community and improve the quality of life, economic development, and social wellbeing of our local areas.

Tidy Towns Committees, local development groups, GIY groups, transition and renewable energy initiatives, community gardens, green hospitality and eco-tourism initiatives, biodiversity initiatives, local authority representatives, community development workers, social entrepreneurs, shop local campaigns and anyone interested in exploring new opportunities to make our communities thrive, will benefit from attending.

Participation in the workshop is free, but places are limited.
