South Tipperary Tourism has teamed up with the Tipperary Food Producers Network to present A Taste of Tipperary, a unique cookery experience profiling the high quality produce available locally in Tipperary.
A number of high profile Tipperary chefs will create some of their favourite dishes including Dermot Gannon from The Old Convent, Clogheen, TJ Crowe of Crowe’s Farm Artesian Meats, Michael Karney from The Wytch Way Inn, Holycross and AnnMarie Walsh from The Tipperary Kitchen, Holycross. The evening will be hosted by highly experienced and entertaining, ex Fáilte Ireland Chef JJ Healy.
South Tipperary Tourism was established in 2009 and is made up of voluntary representatives from B&B and self catering, Hotels, Food, Horse Racing, Walking, the OPW, local business experts and is supported by South Tipperary County Council, Fáilte Ireland and South Tipperary Development Company.
Our key objective is ‘to develop, promote, support and sustain the tourism industry and related sectors in South Tipperary with a view to increasing tourism spend; sustaining current employment levels and creating an environment for additional jobs to be created in the tourism sector in South Tipperary.’
