There was a very good turnout from clubs. Clubs recieved their ticket allocations for the Racing For Macra Fundraiser in Novermber.
All clubs are required to return unsold tickets to the next North Tipp meeting on November 22nd in Nenagh. The Rally takes place in Carlow next weekend. It promises to be an epic weekend. Joe McGrath of Devilsbit Macra has details of accomodation if anyone requires them.
The Chairman asks all members to meet at the Indoor Market on Saturday morning next at 11am. There you will receive your Racing For Macra ticket books and a plan will be put in place regarding club promotion over the next couple of months. Well done to all who attended the Impromptu Public Speacking competition in Templetouhy last weekend. There was an impressive amount of competitors from the club as well as some very impressive performances.
Ballinahinch/Killoscully Macra held their AGM last Wednesday night in Ballinahinch hall. There was a few changes to the committee on the night. The new committee as follows – Chairman: Niall O Donnell; Vice Chairman: Sean Finn; Treasurer: Cathal Ryan; Vice Treasurer: Pat Jones; Secretary: Francis Bourke; Vice Secretary: Sean Hickey; PRO: Ruth Maloney. The next club meeting will be held in Killoscully on October 30th. New members are always welcome to join.
Devilsbit Club attended the North-Tipp Impromptu Public Speaking Competition in Templetuohy on Friday.There was a great turnout from the club and everyone really enjoyed the night.We are very proud to support Margaret Stanley who gained victory as the winner in the competition.She spoke very well on Relay for Life.She will represent North Tipp at the quarter finals on the 9th of November. Miriam Crone came second and she spoke on College and Competitions.
