Cashel Community School Notes
The one hundred and forty three First Years continue to settle in to their new environment at Cashel Community School, getting used to the routine of a much more varied and indeed longer school day.
A great many of the boys and girls have involved themselves in extra-curricular activities such as hurling, camogie, soccer, basketball, choir, trad group, and much else – all wholesome ways of making good new friends and feeling at home in CCS. An updating information night was held for the parents/guardians of the first years on Tuesday 25th September. On this coming Thursday night, 4th October, students and parents will gather for the annual First Year Family Mass. This is always a most special and memorable event, praying God’s blessing on the young students – and their families -as they embark on the journey of secondary schooling at CCS.
