Careers In Accountancy Evening At LIT

Are you a graduate, a leaving certificate student or an adult learner interested in a career in accountancy? Then all roads lead to LIT Tipperary, Thurles tomorrow, Thursday 22nd November at 6:00pm, when representatives from the major accountancy bodies together with industry experts will be on hand to offer advice and answer your questions.

The Accountancy Careers Information evening organised by the LIT Tipperary Business Education and Social Sciences Department will have representatives from the global accountancy training and qualifications providers ACCA, CIMA, CPA and ACA, in addition to the Irish Tax Institute and other key industry personnel.

Forging ahead in the provision of accountancy training, LIT Tipperary has offered the ACCA accredited CAT (Certified Accounting Technician) programme at its Thurles and Clonmel campuses for the past seven years. The student friendly environment combined with excellent delivery and supportive, friendly lecturers has resulted in students achieving in excess of forty placings at either national or international level in ACCA examinations since 2006.

So if you think a career in accountancy is for you, why not mark the evening of Thursday 22nd November in your diary and come along to LIT Tipperary, Thurles Campus. Admission is free and all interested are welcome to attend the Careers in Accountancy Information Evening. Light refreshments will be provided.
